Suno prompt checker

What does it check?

The boxes. A last line that starts Exclude Styles: goes into Suno's Exclude Styles box, as APMonster writes it, and the rest is Style. Each box is counted against the limit Suno's Create form allowed when APMonster last read it: 1,000 characters for Style and for Exclude Styles, and 5,000 characters for Lyrics. The title is counted, since its box shows no limit.

Before you write, the four checks APMonster shows for Suno: a style, a tempo written as a BPM number, things to leave out, and a song structure in the lyrics. They are not rules; each says why it helps.

Two common slips: section tags like [Chorus] in the Style box, where Suno's own pages put them in the lyrics, and things to leave out written into Style as "no…" phrases instead of Exclude Styles.

Where do the limits come from?

Suno publishes no box limits. The figures are the ones its Create form allowed when APMonster read it; the Suno guide gives the date, the sources and everything else Suno documents.

In Suno's Advanced mode, set the Variety slider to 0 before you paste: Suno says it rewrites your style prompt.
